# PushMetrics

> PushMetrics is a data workspace for insights distribution: a low-code notebook platform with a built-in SQL editor, scheduling, workflow logic, and AI agents that automates reporting and delivers data, KPI summaries, alerts, and dashboards to Email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, cloud storage, and any REST API. Teams use it to replace manual reporting with scheduled, personalized, multi-channel data delivery — including Tableau report automation and SQL-based mail-merge reports.

PushMetrics connects to 20+ SQL databases and warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, ClickHouse, and more), to BI tools like Tableau, and to any REST API. Users combine query, chart, AI, and delivery tasks in notebooks, then schedule them or trigger them via webhooks. Workflow logic (FOR loops, IF/ELSE branching, Jinja templating and parameters) enables mail-merge-style personalized reports, data-driven alerts, and complex orchestration without engineering effort. AI agents can answer data questions in chat or Slack, monitor metrics proactively, and run scheduled briefings grounded in your data.

Common use cases: automating Tableau report distribution (email bursting, filtered PDF/CSV/image exports to customers), sending scheduled SQL query results to Email/Slack/Teams, KPI cards and alerts, updating spreadsheets and slide decks, uploading exports to S3/SFTP/Google Drive, database writeback, and CRM enrichment from the data warehouse.
