PushMetrics legacy version (v1) End of Life and Migration to v2

We’re excited to announce that PushMetrics v2 is now our primary platform - faster, battle-tested, more stable, and fully compatible with existing workflows on the previous version (v1).

To make sure everyone benefits from these improvements and to streamline our operations, we’ll be retiring the legacy version (v1) by February 28, 2026.

This post explains what’s changing, what you need to do, and when.

Who is affected?

PushMetrics customers that are still using our legacy version (hosted on app.pushmetrics.io) are being migrated to our new version (hosted on pushmetrics.io/app). Customers already on our new version are not affected.

Why we’re moving to v2

PushMetrics v2 is a complete rebuild of our reporting automation platform. It has the same feature set as v1 (plus many more) but with:

  • Improved performance and reliability
  • Simpler setup and connection management
  • Cleaner, faster user experience
  • Better maintainability
  • Great support for SQL-based workflows

In short: v2 gives you everything you have in v1 - plus faster execution, better integrations, and a more modern foundation for future features.

What’s happening and when

We’ve designed the migration to be smooth and low-effort for every customer.
Here’s the timeline:

You can sign up and try the new version at pushmetrics.io/app using the email address associated with your v1 account.

December 9, 2025

We copy your v1 workspace content to v2. No changes are made in v1. Schedules will be set to paused in v2. There is no downtime or interruption of your workflows.

Dec 9, 2025 – Jan 31, 2026

You can test and switch workflows to v2 at your own pace.

February 15, 2026

For remaining v1 workspaces, we’ll re-copy content, disable workflows in v1, and activate them in v2.

February 28, 2026

v1 is shut down completely.

Your data and workflows remain safe throughout this process. v1 stays read-only after February 15, 2026, and becomes inaccessible after February 28.

What you need to do

The migration itself is automatic - but to start using v2, a few minutes of setup are required:

  1. Log into v2:
    You’ll receive an email when your workspace copy is ready. Log in with the email address associated with your v1 account.
  2. Reconnect integrations:
  • Update the Tableau connection with a new Personal Access Token (PAT)
  • If you use our Slack integration, install the new PushMetrics Slack app and invite the PushMetrics app to private channels that you want to send messages to.
  1. Verify and enable workflows:
    All your workflows are copied but paused by default. You can enable and test them one by one at your own pace.
  2. Deactivate unused workflows in v1 once you’re satisfied with the v2 setup.

That’s it - most teams complete the setup in under 10 minutes.

What if I don’t take action?

If you haven’t switched by February 15, 2026, we’ll:

  • Copy your latest content from v1 to v2 again.
  • Turn off workflows in v1.
  • Activate them automatically in v2.

This ensures your automations continue running without interruption.
